Cellar Accessibility

Unfortunately, our usual stage, the Cellar Theatre at Nadelberg 6, is not barrier-free for people with disabilities.

The courtyard features cobblestone paving. The entrance to the courtyard and the two doors leading into the English Seminar are at least 100cm wide (note that the Cellar Theatre has a smaller door, see below).

The Cellar Theatre is reached via two consecutive flights of stairs, which together have 26 steps (12 + 14), each step measuring 95cm x 28cm. The height of each step is around 18cm. There is a continuous handrail.

Downstairs, the entrance to the actual theatre space features a single step upwards (23cm high) which leads to a door which is about 80cm wide.

The bathrooms are not wheelchair-accessible.

If you have any other questions do not hesitate to contact us! We hope to make our shows accessible to as many people as possible.
